Jana (Kristjana Rúna Kristjánsdóttir) is a woman born in Iceland in 1983 Reykjavík Iceland.
She grew up with artistic parents, mother educated contemporary ceramic artist and a father that played the guitar.
The influence from her mothers work rubbed on to her, and at a very young age she began to paint pottery, use acrylics and brushes with her mother, her knowlige was a great foundation for her future work in arts.
She Entered Music school at the ''Eric Uggla'' Theater in Skövde Sweden, there she studied singing Classical Music from 1993 to 1998.
Later she sang in weddings, joined a band, wrote songs and lyrics, Published a Song called -ROLLER COASTER- Jana Kristjáns
and last got the role of Columbia in the musical ''Rocky Horror Picture Show'' 2023
National theater in Reykjavík Iceland and the Local theater in Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar).
In 2019 she began to devote her time to learning everything about acrylics and Mediums, fluid art cought her attension and from there, there was no turning back.
In Westman Island (Vestmannaeyjar) she entered the Local art community wish was a very active and large cummunity in such a small town, rented a studio with 32 other artists in Hvíta Húsinu(whiteHouse) and joined many Art shows.
Her Love for nature shines in her latest work, with dramatic skies.
She uses both Acrylic an Oils in her paintings.
